Most valuable UK brands 2023

In 2023, Vodafone was the highest-valued UK brand worldwide, with a brand value of over 26 billion U.S. dollars. HSBC ranked second with nearly 19 billion dollars.

A global telecom giant: Vodafone

Established in 1991, Vodafone - a British telecoms operator providing wireless and fixed communications services - ranked among the leading telecommunications companies worldwide as of 2023 by market capitalization. That year, the Berkshire-based telecom giant's global revenue amounted to approximately 45.7 billion euros. This marked an increase of roughly 130 million euros compared to 2022.

Fastest-growing UK brand

Companies from the telecommunications, banking, and oil industries have traditionally dominated brand rankings in the United Kingdom. Many of these businesses established their presence among the most successful British powerhouses several decades ago and continue to maintain their status. In 2023, Utility Warehouse - a multiservice provider headquartered in London - was the fastest-growing UK brand with a global brand value growth rate of 118 percent. In the meantime, financial technology (fintech) company Revolut grew its brand value by nearly 80 percent. Revolut's app was downloaded roughly 8.7 million times in the UK between March 2015 and February 2023.
